St. George’s Band Club claimed victory of the Third Division National League. In the final the Qormi side had the better of SEPC Zejtun with an 11-9 victory.
At the end of the second session both teams were level 5-5 with St. George’s BC edging SEPC Zejtun 8-7 at the end of third division. The fourth and final session saw the Qormi win three frames that awarded them the season triumph.
St. George’s Band Club team included Duncan Edward, Ludvic Vella, Tonio Cassar, Joseph Psaila, Emanuel Piscopo, Clayton Attard, Alfred Attard, Carmelo Vella, Ezio Fenech, Wallace Muscat and Mario Vella.
